"This painting is of a harbor in Capri, Italy, with boats floating at anchor in the Mediterranean Sea in front of multi-colored buildings. I was particularly attracted to the yellow-peach color of the sky, contrasting with the blue-purple mountains and the deep tones of the sea. I used a variety of techniques with palette knives, brushes, and other tools to create a range of textures in this painting."
